Conventional Oil Change

blank

Your vehicle’s engine is a complex piece of machinery, and in order to maintain the value of your vehicle, and keep it performing in tip-top shape, you should always change your oil at regular intervals.

Should I use a conventional oil or synthetic?

Figuring out whether to use a conventional vs a synthetic oil can be daunting task in itself, as there are several things to take into consideration, such as your vehicle’s age, your driving pattern and cost difference. For the most part, you should stick to the vehicle manufacturers recommended oil grade and viscosity. That being said, there are many benefits to switching to a synthetic oil, many of which make the switch a no-brainer… [see our synthetic oil change page for more info]

How often should I change my oil?

There have always been debates over how often a typical driver should change their oil. As a general rule, vehicle manufacturers often suggest you change your oil every 5000 to 7500 miles, but the higher your car’s mileage, the more frequent changes might be in order, but that’s for a qualified mechanic to decide on a case-by-case basis.
